Feb. 15 update

A message from Dr. Wiles:

Dear GCSD Families,

February is Black History month, an annual observance that honors the contributions of African Americans to U.S. history. For those families who would like to learn more about Black History month, the Guilderland Public Library has many resources available for elementary school-aged children, including discovery pages. Families of older students may want to review this list of books based on real-life experiences of African Americans.

Thank you to all who participated in the 2022-23 school budget ThoughtExchange

From Feb. 8-Feb. 14, the Guilderland Central School District ran a ThoughtExchange to gather input from GCSD students, staff, families and community members regarding budget priorities. This ThoughtExchange had 643 participants, 582 thoughts and 29,638. Thank you to all who participated! The district will be posting a report of the results in the coming days.
