Congratulations to Gabriella DiGregorio (JV Softball) and Alexa Kosier (Varsity Track & Field) for earning DOW (Dutchmen of the Week) honors for the week of May 12.
Gabriella DiGregorio (JV Softball)
Recently, Gabby led the team with a .455 batting average, racking in five hits, one stolen base, one walk, three RBIs and two runs scored. On the field Gabby had 15 putouts with a 100% fielding percentage. Gabby does what is asked of her with a smile on her face and has played multiple positions this season. She has been a role model and leader for our team all season. Gabby is a hard worker, always encouraging her teammates and has a positive attitude.

Alexa Kosier (Varsity Track & Field)
Alexa had an unbelievable meet at the Eddy Meet, helping her team secure the meet title. In the 4 x 800 relay, she ran her fastest 800 split of her life, running two laps in 2:16.59. Just a few minutes later, she came back and ran the Open 800 in 2:15.34, over a three second improvement from her previous PR. Alexa then came back and ran a lifetime best in the 1500m, clocking a time of 4:52.19. It is truly something special to have three PRs (personal records) on the same day! Congratulations on a great day, season and high school career!
