GCSD Trisha McLean recognized as a NewsChannel 13’s “Top Teacher”

Trisha McLean, a fifth-grade teacher at Pine Bush Elementary School, is one of WNYT NewsChannel 13’s “Top Teachers!”

“Mrs. McLean helps us believe in ourselves, and to be confident. And, she always dances,” said Molly Martone, a current student who nominated McLean.

“We’re very lucky to have Trisha as part of our amazing staff at Pine Bush Elementary and we couldn’t be happier for her,” said Pine Bush Elementary School Principal Chris Sanita. “As one of 13 educators chosen out of 200+ nominations is impressive and speaks to how special she is.”

McLean has been teaching in Guilderland for 15 years and is also a resident.

You can see her segment from March 13, 2020, below. Congratulations Mrs. McLean!
