GHS community holds Anti-Hate Rally

An Anti-Hate Rally was held by The Black Student Union, Student Government, Anti-Racism Committee, and Students and Teachers Against Racism at Guilderland High School on Friday, May 21.

Students spoke about personal experiences with racism, bigotry and discrimination. The rally also included activities to help attendees gain more insight into these perspectives, as well as ways to identify hate. The rally ended with a pledge to condemn hate, to strive to be more inclusive, and to begin a journey that commends diversity and encourages education of oneself.
