School supply lists, by grade, for the 2025-26 school year at Lynnwood Elementary School can be found below.

Listed are the common supplies need for each grade level.
With the August placement letter, parents will receive this list and information about any additional items your child’s teacher may request.
Please note this is only the basic list of supplies.

Kindergarten Supply List

Please clearly label all items with your child’s name.

Community Supplies

1 box of tissues
8 small glue sticks (Elmer are best quality)
1 pack of Twistables Crayola Crayons

Personal Supplies

1 pair of scissors
3 durable plastic double pocket folders (1 blue, 1 red, 1 purple)
1 durable plastic folder (child’s choice of color or design)
1 black and white hard cover composition notebook
A full-sized backpack (*no wheels, * smaller packs or preschool packs make art work, library books, lunch boxes and other things difficult to fit/pack)
Sneakers with velcro
Lunch box (plan to send a small, healthy snack every day)
Water bottle

Suggested Donations (items that we often need but are not requiring)

Golf pencils (small pencils without erasers)
Pipsqueak Crayola Markers

(Both writing tools are perfect for developing proper pencil grasp)

Grade 1 Supply List

2 black sharpie markers
1 package of wipes

2 dozen sharpened Ticonderoga pencils
1 box of sandwich size Ziploc bags
1 box of gallon size Ziplock bags
12 count of glue sticks (no scent)
3 boxes of crayola crayons
1 box of Crayola markers
1 set of watercolor paints (please label)
5 two-pocket folders labeled (red, blue, yellow, green, orange-ART)
1 two-pocket folder of any pattern or design (take home folder) (please label)
1 composition notebook (please label)
1 set of inexpensive headphones (no earbuds – bring from kindergarten; please label and put in a plastic bag)
1 pair of scissors
2 dry erase markers and a clean sock

Please bring in a change of clothes for your child in a labeled Ziploc bag

2 large boxes of tissues

1 box of Crayola markers fine tip
1 box Crayola markers fat tip
1 pack Crayola primary colored twistable crayons (please be sure they are not twistable colored pencils and that they are solid colors)
1 set of headphones that will last the whole year
1 Tray Crayola watercolor paints
1 Marble composition notebook wide ruled
5 two-pocket plastic folders (2 blue, 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 your choice for Take Home Folder)

Grade 3 Supply List

Please feel free to reuse any supplies that are still in good condition from previous school years.

Please label bold materials with your child’s name.

5 – double pocket folders in the following colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue
1 – additional double pocket yellow folder for art
1 – durable pocket folder of choice (will serve as a take home folder)
2 – marble composition notebook
1 – clipboard
1 – plastic pencil box large enough to fit supplies
1 – pair of headphones/earbuds in a plastic bag labeled with name
1 – highlighter
2- packages of #2 Ticonderoga sharpened pencils

When you check out, be sure to select “Free School Delivery,” and select your district, Lynnwood and list your student’s first & last name. Your recorder will be shipped to Mrs. Jantson at LES at no cost.

You are also welcome to order your recorder from other sites or stores, as long as you order a Soprano Recorder. Please do not purchase from the Dollar Store as they sometimes do not have the correct holes and will not play correctly.
