2021-22 Student Calendar

The general student calendar for the 2021-22 academic year was adopted by the Guilderland Central School District Board of Education on March 16, 2021.

This calendar lists the following conference days and holidays:

July 5, 2021: Holiday for Employees
Sept. 1-2: Conference Days (Closed for Students)
Sept. 6: Labor Day (Closed)
Sept. 7-8: Rosh Hashanah (Closed for Students)
Sept. 8: Conference Days (Closed for Students)
Sept. 9: First Day of School for Students
Sept. 16: Yom Kippur (Closed)
Oct. 11: Columbus Day (Closed)
Nov. 2: Conference Day (Closed for Students)
Nov. 11: Veterans’ Day (Closed)
Nov. 24-26: Thanksgiving Recess
Dec. 24-31: Holiday Recess
Jan. 17, 2022: Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Closed)
Feb. 21: Presidents’ Day (Closed)
Feb. 21-25: Presidents’ Recess
April 15: Good Friday (Closed)
April 15-22: Spring Recess
May 27: Contingent Holiday (see note below)
May 30: Memorial Day (Closed)
June 20: Juneteenth (6/19) Observed (Closed)
June 24, 2022: Last Day of School

Please Note:

  1. On the following days, teachers will have no late assignments after regular classroom assignments for the 2021-2022 school year: 10/8/21, 11/23/21, 12/23/21, 2/18/22, 4/14/22, and 5/26/22.
  2. If schools are closed not more than two days for snow or emergency, then May 27, 2022, is a school holiday. However, if three days are used, NO SCHOOL HOLIDAY MAY 27, 2022 – SCHOOL WILL BE IN SESSION.
