Today, we learned that one individual connected to Farnsworth Middle School has tested positive for COVID-19. FMS Principal, Michael Laster followed Albany County Department of Health guidelines to determine who needs to quarantine as a result. Those individuals have been contacted and the Health Department should be following up with them as well.
Please know that the health and safety of our students and staff are vitally important to us as we strive to continue to provide in-person instruction safely. We continue to work closely with the Albany County Department of Health to follow their guidance each time our district has a positive case.
