Braelyn Cornell and Enesio Capollari named Dutchmen of the Week for the week of Oct. 23

Congratulations to Braelyn Cornell (Varsity Cross Country) and Enesio Capollari (Varsity Soccer) for earning DOW (Dutchmen of the Week) honors for the week of October 23.

Braelyn Cornell (Varsity Cross Country)

Braelyn has had a remarkable season. She has put herself on all of our all-time lists, including setting the freshmen record on our home course. Braelyn ran a time of 10:22 on our challenging 1.7 mile course. This is a 6:05 average mile on a hilly course. Braelyn followed that up by finishing 12th place in the Suburban Council Championship. She is now the 12th fastest Guilderland runner to have ever run this course and is only a freshman! Her efforts earned her the honors of being selected a Suburban Council All Star!

Enesio Capollari (Varsity Boys Soccer)

Enesio’s best performances have come when his team needed them the most. He had two assists in our quarterfinals win over Queensbury and two assists in our semi finals win over Columbia. His ability to see the field and spread the ball around to jump start our attach has been instrumental in us winning a Class AA Sectional Championship and having the opportunity to compete in the NYSPHSAA Tournament!
