Employees Recognized During Board of Education Meeting, Oct. 6

Over thirty years ago, the GCSD Board of Education authorized the establishment of a committee to review the service provided by district employees who have made outstanding contributions to the Guilderland Central School District. Since that time, more than 500 staff members have been honored. 

The following employees will be recognized at the beginning of the GCSD Board of Education meeting on October 6, 2020:

  • Connie Arnold, Custodian at Guilderland High School
  • Jennifer Ford, Science Teacher at Farnsworth Middle School
  • Andy Ng, Custodian at Guilderland High School
  • Beth Ray, Elementary Teacher at Westmere Elementary School
  • Sue Smith, Teaching Assistant at Guilderland High School
  • Meghan Tidd, Foreign Language Teacher at Guilderland High School
  • Lauren Whipple, Special Education Teacher at Pine Bush Elementary School

Recipients of the Employee Recognition Award will attend in-person for a formal presentation. The public can watch a live stream of the October 6 ceremony and meeting on the GHS Media YouTube page.
