Jan. 25 update

A message from Dr. Wiles:

Dear Guilderland CSD Families,

This morning a communication was sent to Guilderland Central School District families clarifying a court ruling concerning the state’s mask mandate. Following a hearing this afternoon of the State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Judge Robert Miller ordered that a stay on the lower court’s decision will remain in effect until at least January 28, 2022. Therefore, the Department of Health statewide rule requiring the wearing of masks in school remains in effect. At this time, there is no change to the mask protocols we have been following. We will continue to follow this case closely and will update you accordingly.
