Congratulations to Leon Edelmann (Varsity Soccer) and Sadie Miller (Varsity Field Hockey) for earning DOW (Dutchmen of the Week) honors for the week of September 5.
Leon Edelmann (Varsity Soccer)
Leon scored 5 out of 6 Dutchmen goals in week 1 of the season last week. His play helped his team to wins over Bethlehem (3 to 0) and Colonie (3 to 1). Great week, Leon!
Sadie Miller (Varsity Field Hockey)
Sadie helped the field hockey team race out to a 2 and 0 start to the season last week. Her play in the midfield helped her team create many scoring opportunities. She had 2 goals in a win over Shaker, 4 to 0, on Friday, September 9th. Sadie is the starting center midfielder for the Lady Dutch as a Sophomore. Congrats, Sadie!

Each week, we will highlight two student athletes (Modified, Mod 9, Frosh, JV or varsity level) for athletic accomplishments based on the following criteria.
- The athlete should have made a significant impact on a contest within the nomination time frame, which is the week prior to selection; or
- The athlete must have shown excellent leadership, sportsmanship, noticeable improvement/effort, community service and/or other notable trait(s).
