PBES student’s work selected for statewide show

Student in front of artworkPine Bush Elementary School student Luca Foshee’s “Birch Trees” was selected as the official postcard for the 2023 New York State School Boards Association show.

Out of more than 900 student works that were submitted for the content, Luca’s was one of two students whose artwork was chosen for the digital postcard. He is the primary grade level winner, which included entries from students in kindergarten through grade 6.

Student artworkThe New York State Art Teachers Association sponsors an annual exhibit to showcase student artwork from across the state at the NYSSBA convention, which will take place Oct. 26-28, in Buffalo.

One of PBES art teacher Ms. Monlea’s students was chosen last year for this honor as well.
