2020-21 School Year Weather-Related Closures and Delays

To prepare for upcoming winter weather below is information on how weather-related closures and delays for the 2020-2021 school year will be handled.

Weather-Related Closures

As in the past, schools will be closed when snow or poor road conditions make travel difficult or impossible. There will be no classes on these days for all students (in-person or remote-only).

If we exceed our planned number of snow days for this school year then we will likely make additional days remote-only instruction days. We will notify you in advance if we have used all of our snow days for this year.

Weather-Related Delays

New this year: When morning weather conditions necessitate extra time for bus preparation and for roads to be cleared:

  • Grades K-6 will be delayed by two hours
  • Grades 7-12 will go fully remote for that day
