June 14 update: summer reading lists; no school June 20

A message from Dr. Wiles:

Dear GCSD Families,

With the last day of school rapidly approaching, there are a few important dates to note. In observance of Juneteenth, all Guilderland Central School District schools and district offices will be closed on June 20. There are no Regents exams scheduled for that day. In addition, on June 23-24 there will be an early release for elementary and middle school students. Students in grades K-5 will be released at 10:50 a.m.; FMS will stagger students’ release from 12:20 p.m. to 12:45 p.m., with students who walk dismissed first.

Summer reading lists now available

The GCSD librarians have created grade-level lists of relevant and high-interest literature to help students broaden their vocabulary, retain information and exercise their brains over the summer break. Please click here to view the reading lists.
