Congratulations to Matt Sajise (Varsity Bowling) and Caleb Doney (Varsity Swimming & Diving) for earning DOW (Dutchmen of the Week) honors for the week of November 27.
Matt Sajise (Varsity Bowling)
Matt bowled games of 215, 205 and a 248 (668 triple) to help the varsity bowling team defeat Colonie by a score of 23-9. Matt took all 4 games from his opponent and bowled 30 pins above his average. Matt is an ideal student athlete, great teammate and makes Guilderland proud each time he steps on the lanes.
Caleb Doney (Varsity Swimming & Diving)
Caleb has come into the season a focused leader, doing it with both his actions and his words. Caleb came ready to race in an early season scrimmage. Last year, Caleb did not qualify for sectionals until the final regular season meet. At the early season scrimmage, Caleb swam a sectional qualifying time in the 200 yard Individual Medley and just missed the 100 yard backstroke time. Awesome job, Caleb!
