Police deem reported threat at Guilderland High School not credible

Today, Monday, September 13, 2021, the administration at Guilderland High School was notified of a possible threat to the school. The Guilderland Police Department was immediately notified; they investigated the report and determined there was not a credible threat.

“As always, we take these reports very seriously and the safety of our students and staff is our number one priority,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Marie Wiles. “All safety protocols and procedures were followed and the matter was dealt with promptly.”

The district is thankful the matter was reported immediately and that its law enforcement partners were able to investigate thoroughly and quickly.
