Mar. 15 update: start times survey; budget Q & A session; kindergarten registration

A message from Dr. Wiles:

Dear GCSD Families,

Given the challenges we have experienced this school year around transportation, the Guilderland Central School District is in the process of reviewing school start and end times. To assist us with this task, we are requesting feedback from GCSD families. Please complete and submit the applicable survey by noon on Monday, Mar. 21. If you have children at different school levels, we ask that you submit one survey for each school level. Your input will provide our Start Time Task Force with valuable insight.

If you have children at the elementary school level, use this link to complete a survey.
If you have children at the middle school level, use this link to complete a survey.
If you have children at the high school level, use this link to complete a survey.

Reminder: budget Q & A workshop tonight

At 7:00 p.m. this evening the district will host a question-and-answer session on the 2022-23 school year budget. Members of the Guilderland Central School District community are welcome to attend this workshop session in the Large Group Instruction (LGI) room at Guilderland High School. Questions from the in-person audience are appreciated. The meeting will also be live-streamed and can be viewed on the GHS Media YouTube channel.

In addition, a representative from Assemblymember Fahy’s office will attend the meeting to provide an update on the New York State budget.
