Results from 2024-2025 budget survey; thank you for your participation!

From Jan. 16-23, the Guilderland Central School District conducted a survey to gather input on the 2024-2025 budget from GCSD students, staff, families and community members. The survey had approximately 2,000 participants; thank you to all who took part.

The survey centered on learning which district priorities are most important to stakeholders. Overall, the school community found maintaining low class sizes, preserving offerings in the arts and continued support for students who require academic assistance as the top three priorities. The survey was launched to gather input and opinions from the GCSD community that will be helpful in planning for the 2024-2025 school year. District administrators and board of education members will use the results of the survey to inform budget priorities that fully support GCSD students.

Those who were unable to participate in the budget survey but would like to provide input are welcome to do so at a board of education meeting. Information about board of education meetings and how to register to provide public comment can be found on the district website.

Thank you to all who participated in the survey for sharing your insights and feedback!
