Guilderland school community raising funds for two students battling a rare cancer

Last February, Gabe Zullo, now a freshman at Guilderland High School, was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Today, the district learned of one person connected to Guilderland High School testing positive for COVID-19. GHS principal Michael Piscitelli is following Albany County Department guidance to determine who needs to quarantine as a result and he is contacting those individuals.
